In Memoriam

March 16, 2016

Corporate Press and ColorCraft of Virginia mourn the loss of a beloved colleague and leader, James (Jim) Mayes, Jr.

Jim owned and operated ColorCraft of Virginia for many years prior to his retirement after the sale of the company to Corporate Press in 2012. He created the leading fine print company in the region, and positively inspired everyone he came into contact with. Jim was a vocal printing industry advocate, who served in numerous executive roles with the Printing Industries of Virginia (PIVA), Print & Graphics Association of the Mid-Atlantic (PGAMA), and Printing Industries of America (PIA).

“Today is a very sad day for everyone in our company. Jim Mayes was a great leader, friend and mentor,” said Michael Marcian, President of Corporate Press. “Jim was a true gentleman, and his work at ColorCraft and within the printing industry will leave a lasting, positive legacy. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife Kathy, daughters Michelle and Meredith, and his grandchildren.”
